​ Katrina is on Twitter. But only to promote a brand

Bollywood star Katrina Kaif has joined micro-blogging site Twitter. While the fans of the actress on the social media might be going gaga, you can take a deep breath as there’s no chance of leaked pictures of Katrina and Ranbir that may get leaked. Exclusively built for promotional purpose for cosmetic brand L'Oreal Paris, of which the actress is the brand ambassador, the account has twitter handle of Katrina@Cannes.

As per a news report by The Economic Times, Kaif, 31, will be walking the red carpon the first day of the 12-day fest (May 13-24) as the ambassador of cosmetic brand L'Oreal Paris and also be a part of the opening ceremony.

"Such a fun day with the gorgeous Sonam Kapoor at the LOrealParisIn press conference! #CantWaitForCannes," read Katrina's first tweet.

Katrina will join actresses Sonam and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who have represented L'Oreal Paris at Cannes on previous occasions too.
