  1. Apple is working on a huge iPad with a 12.9-inch screen. That's nearly the size of the largest MacBook Air and 3 inches larger than the current 9.7-inch iPad.
  2. Instagram launched a new standalone app, Hyperlapse. Hyperlapse is like having $15,000 dollars worth of top shelf video equipment in your phone. It's a quick, easy way to make time lapse videos.
  3. Rumors about Snapchat raising a big round of financing are back. This time, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers is said to be investing in Snapchat at a valuation close to $10 billion. Also, DST Global reportedly invested in Snapchat earlier this year at a $7 billion valuation, and no one knew about it. It has an estimated 100 million monthly active users.
  4. Uber's aggressive plan to steal drivers from its competitor, Lyft, was made public yesterday when internal documents were leaked. Called "Operation Slog," the goal is to disguise Uber brand ambassadors as normal Lyft riders by giving them burner phones and credit cards to create fake accounts. Then the Uber workers reportedly talk to Lyft drivers about jumping ship to Uber during their rides.
  5. Here's how Uber CEO Travis Kalanick is defending Operation Slog. "Would it be controversial if we got in taxis and recruited taxi drivers and paid for the ride?" Kalanick tweeted, adding, "to be clear, we are paying for the rides, these are independent contractors working for multiple co's."
  6. Payment company Square is reportedly raising $200 million at a $6 billion valuation. The the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation could be investing in Jack Dorsey's company.
  7. Jessica Alba and Brian Lee's e-commerce startup The Honest Co. just raised $70 million at a valuation just under $1 billion. The founders say they want to IPO; it's expected to generate more than $150 million in annual revenue, up from roughly $50 million in 2013.
  8. There are a lot of really weird rumors floating around about Dave Morin's mobile social network Path that don't seem to be true. The rumors suggest that the startup has had layoffs and that it wants to get acquired.
  9. A $22 gadget called the Knee Defender caused a fight on a United flight between two middle-age passengers. The fight was so bad (the woman dumped water on the man's head), that the flight had to be diverted.
  10. Could this hot dog be the new iPhone 6? A video that pokes fun at all the Apple rumors is making the rounds.
