10 cities you must visit before they disappear one day! Say thanks to global warmingEver imagined what would happen if we couldn’t control the rise in average temperature of earth? Or, what would happen if all the ice on the planet melts? Probably you would no more find iconic cities such as Venice, Istanbul, London, and Brussels in Europe; Mumbai, Kolkata and Beijing in Asia; and Seattle, Miami, New York, and Washington DC in the US among other cities. That means you won’t be able to visit the beautiful city of Venice in Italy comprising a group of 118 small islands separated by canals and linked by bridges. Not only this, you will neither be able to see the famous Buckingham Palace, Piccadilly Circus, and Tower Bridge in London, nor the Statue of Liberty, gifted to the United States by France.

Thanks to development in the field of science and technology! And thanks to our development drive, it took us long enough, if at all to realize that we humans are responsible for the global warming and depletion of the ozone layer. In the past 50 years, the amount of greenhouse gases we as humanity have emitted through our activities that now we are on the verge of destroying our own mother earth.

The drastic increase in the level of carbon dioxide in the last 30 years is the main cause behind climate change and rise in average temperature on earth’s surface. As a result, large glaciers in parts of Antarctica have already started to thaw fast. If the situation goes out of control, there will be a major change in the world map and various coastal cities will be submerged in water. Let’s know the name of those cities which would be soon under the oceans.
