Indian e-commerce giants may be bleeding cash, but the space witnessed its highest-ever funding in 2015 with $11.3B being invested across a whopping 415 funding rounds. It seems most industry experts believe it’s still too early to draw a conclusion on India’s e-commerce potential. In the last 15 months, IDGVC Partners led the investment rounds with 17, followed by Tiger Global Management with 12 investments and Accel Partners with 10 investments.
