Whether you regret it or treasure it, remember it or have no idea how it happened, coming back from a holiday with a tattoo is hardly uncommon.

However, the places where tourists are most likely to get tattoos are surprising.

Video shopping app YEAY has put together a Global Tattoo Index, which produced a Purchasing Popularity Index.

This looks at the cities where the percentage of tattoos purchased by tourists outweighs those bought by locals. The ranking was determined by gathering data from hundreds of tattoo parlours worldwide.
