Storm Angus has caused severe weather and falling temperatures across the UK.

More than 20 flood warnings are still in place after high winds and heavy rain battered the UK coastline on Monday 21 November.

At least one person is dead after Storm Angus - the first named storm of this season - reached England and Wales' southern coasts, bringing with it winds of more than 80 miles per hour.

A woman in Folkestone, Kent, was swept into the sea by high winds on Tuesday morning. She was airlifted to safety by coastguards, but later died in hospital.

Elsewhere, an elderly woman was found dead outside her home after the weather caused temperatures to drop severely in Scotland and Yorkshire.

Daylight has revealed the full scale of the damage, but the weather is expected to worsen. Here are some of the most important images of the chaos so far.
