South Korean multinational conglomerate company Samsung India is one of the largest smartphone companies of the country, and has claimed to have 60% share in the total shipments of 4G phones in the country in 2015.
"Last year 60 per cent of shipments in the industry were 4G devices and Samsung garnered 60 per cent share of that. Increasingly, people are adopting 4G, probably they are leapfrogging and many people will skip 3G. They will go from 2G to 4G straight," Samsung India General Manager (Mobile Business) Vishal Kaul said.
