Wayne Skivington, 28, has found the ultimate way to balance parenting with his busy career as a Cirque du Soleil performer.

The single dad has been performing acrobatic stunts with his three-year-old son, Rowan, and posting adorable videos of the routines on Instagram and they've since gone viral.

Skivington set up his Instagram account less than a year ago to share the videos with his friends and family in the U.K. to enjoy. Since then, he's gained over 28,000 followers, and regularly posts videos of the duo practicing pull ups, handstands and balancing acts, which Wayne says is their fun time together - his training is done at the gym.

"The dad is always the guy who throws the kid up in the air-I just take it to the next level," the acro dad told the Daily Mail

Skivington dropped out of university to join the circus just before his 21st birthday. He was studying for a sports coaching degree at Leeds Metropolitan University when he was offered a role in the Cirque du Soleil in Las Vegas.

He became involved with gymnastics when he was four years old, around the same age as his son. His first performance was for Princess Anne during a royal visit in 1992. Now he performs acrobatic feats twice a day, five times a week with his partner in the Zumanity Cirque du Soleil production.

An outpouring of fans have reached out to Wayne, telling him he's an inspiration to parents. He says he will continue to post videos with his son in hopes that they can help others.
