Aditya Birla Nuvo charts new highs in trade today

Futures of Aditya Birla Nuvo Ltd., diversified maker of textiles, fashion and financial services, were the top gainers in the derivatives space and struck a fresh high as traders ramped up the stock ahead of its earnings next month.

Aditya Birla Nuvo, a part of the Kumarmangalam Birla group, rose 5.5 percent, or 114 rupees, to 2,175 rupees on the National Stock Exchange.

The futures' open interest grew 11.3 percent and Tuesday's volume more than doubled to 6,200 contracts. The counter is showing a build up of long positions as the stock was trading much above its daily average weighted price.
