Air India is world’s third worst performing international air-carrier, guess who topped the list

FlightsStats, an insights company, has put together a list of International air carriers with the best on-time performance records. The insights company judges the airlines’ year round efforts to track delay and cancellation patterns for airlines across the globe.

They also compiled a list of the worst 10 international flights of the year based on flight-tracking and positional services, airport runway times, radar services, airline records, airport data, and data from governing bodies as Eurocontrol and the Federal Aviation Administration.

"We stitch data together from 500 different sources. We've built the technology and logic to sort that out and validate information across multiple sources. It's a pretty interesting process,” vice president of aviation and distribution at FlightStats, Jim Hetzel, told Bloomberg.
