Air India wants Rs 4,270 crore sanctioned in Budget 2016 as growth plan

India’s national carrier, Air India , has asked for Rs 4,270 crore in upcoming Budget 2016 , Rs 970 crore extra due to depreciating rupee value.
Union Budget will be announced on February 29.
The government also plans to put in Rs 30,231 crore till 2020-21.
As part of its turnaround plan, Air India will hire 1500 employees, including 500 pilots.
