After the much-hyped Flipkart’s Billion Day sale came to an end, it is now time for Amazon to showcase its magic. Unfortunately, the e-tailer faced the anger of online buyers as its Diwali Dhamaka Week sale started on the wrong footing.

Media reports suggest that Amazon.in website crashed as the sale opened at 7 am this morning and the Diwali Dhamaka deals were not visible to the customers at that time. Sadly, those who somehow managed through were also not impressed with what was on offer.

Earlier, Amazon had announced that it’ll offer its customers more lucrative deals than its competitors--Flipkart and Snapdeal. However, buyers are also complaining the lack of any deals on the site. If we believe the reports, Amazon’s promotional price is still more than Snapdeal. For instance: Amazon is offering a Philips shaver at 25% discount, but the price is still more than what you get on Snapdeal.

Amazon Diwali Dhamaka sale will continue for the next six days, unlike the Flipkart Billion Day sale.
