Apple just released a new iPad that's way less expensive than before

Apple just quietly announced a new iPad, and this one comes with a price cut.

Apple's new 9.7-inch iPad now costs $329, and comes with an improved screen and Apple's A9 chip. Apple's iPad Pro, which has the same size screen, starts at $599.

Here's what you need to know:

• The new iPad starts at $329 for 32GB with Wi-Fi. To get a cellular modem, the price increases to $459.
• It comes in silver, gold, and space grey.
• It will be available to order on Friday, March 24.

Apple also dropped the price of its iPad Mini 4, which has a 7.9-inch screen. The model that costs $399 now comes wiht 128GB of storage.
