Attention job seekers! Next six months would see new jobs being created

If you are looking for a job, chances are that the coming six months would bring you some good news. As per the bi-annual ‘Hiring Outlook’ survey 2016 from Naukri, about 77% of the recruiters are expecting new jobs in the next six months.

The maximum jobs would come in the IT-Software sector (24%), followed by ITES (15%) and retail (11%).

"The job markcontinues to sustain the momentum gained in the first half and is poised to head north. More than 77 per cent of the respondents are optimistic of new job creation in the second half of 2016," V. Suresh, chief sales officer at Naukri.com told ET.

Almost half of the polled recruiters were of the view that the coming six months would also see replacement hiring along with new jobs in the middle management level.
