Auto Expo 2016: Hyundai Tucson is rearing to take on the Mahindra XUV500!

Looks like Mahindra’s XUV500 got itself competition, with Hyundai unveiling its Tucson. The car premiered today at the The new Tucson is expected to arrive in showrooms across India after June 2016. It will be locally assembled at the company’s plant in Chennai with CKD kits from Korea.
Under the hood is Hyundai’s 2.0 ltr (1,995 cc) four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine. This powerhouse produces 182 BHP of Power and 400 Nm of Torque. This variant is available exclusively with Hyundai’s Active On-Demand AWD system and a six-speed automatic transmission.
The Tucson bridges the gap between the Hyundai Creta and the Hyundai Santa Fe in India.
