BJP belongs to UP while Punjab set for cliff-hanger, predict bookies

The satta markets in Churu (Rajasthan) and Mumbai have predicted that BJP will win the Uttar Pradesh elections, while Punjab will get to see a tie between Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party , with both getting the same number of seats.
As per the underground betting market in Churu,BJP will win 190-193 seats in UP, while SP-Congress alliance would follow with 125-128, leaving BSP a miserable with 65-67 seats. As per the Mumbai betting market, however, 198-201 seats would be won by BJP, 119-122 by SP-Congress and 62-64 by BSP .

However, both betting markets feel the same about Punjab results, with both predicting AAP and Congress finishing with a tie after securing 53-55 seats each, leaving BJPSAD with just 6-7 seats.
"The municipal elections in Maharastra cleared the uncertainty. It showed that despite demonetisation, people are voting for the BJP, which is expected to maintain this trend in UP," a Churu-based bookie told TOI.
