Brady's job is safe.

The New England Patriots suffered the second-worst loss in the 15 years under Bill Belichick falling 41-14 to the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday night.

During the game, Belichick pulled Tom Brady in the fourth quarter with the Patriots trailing 41-7. Rookie Jimmy Garoppolo came in and played well, going 6-7 with a touchdown.

This game marked the first time in two years that somebody other than Brady threw a pass for the Patriots and the first time somebody other than Brady had thrown a pass for the Patriots in a loss since 2010.

This led one reporter after the game to ask Belichick "will the quarterback situation be evaluated" during the week. In true Belichick fashion, he just got an annoyed look on his face, chuckled, and said "no" (via thebiglead.com).

Brady and the 2-2 Patriots are having substandard season by their standards and Brady is 37 years old. But Brady is a Hall of Fame quarterback and the team is one year removed from playing in the AFC Championship game.

Brady isn't going anywhere right now and he's definitely not being benched for a rookie.
