British tennis star attending Las Vegas concert said massacre sounded 'like fireworks'

British women's tennis star Laura Robson has given an eyewitness account of Sunday night's Las Vegas massacre where a lone gunman opened fire at the Mandalay Bay Casino, claiming at least 50 lives and leaving over 200 other people injured.
Robson was attending the country music festival in Las Vegas where the shooting occured.
She told her social media followers that she was okay, but in shock.
"I'm okay. We were right there… sounded like fireworks at first then everyone started running. Scary s***."
The shooter fired from the 32nd floor of the hotel on a crowd of several thousand people attending the music festival below.
Robson added: "My friend who was deeper in the crowd has been helping people who were shot. We're all in shock."

Robson was in Vegas after competing in the ITF tournament in California last week.
