Us, Indians and especially us, Coldplay fans love hoping against hope.
We’ve wanted Coldplay to play in the country since years and after Chris Martin’s impromptu gig last year in Delhi followed by the band’s secret video shoot in Mumbai this year, it seemed like our dream could come true anytime now.
And, then we got the news. If rumours were to be believed,
Great news, right So we thought. Everyone in the country started crooning Fix You while making plans of saving up money for the tickets. Some, even started dreaming watching them live.
All in all, it was a pretty good phase to live in- until the bubble burst.

As it turned out, there was a slight catch. Watching Coldplay perform in India would come at a pretty hefty cost.
According to Mid-Day, the ticket prices for their concert in Mumbai would range from Rs 25,000 to a whopping Rs 5 lakhs. Yep, that’s going to be the price of one ticket.
