Continuing its rocky start, Apple's online radio station goes down on its first day
Apple launched both its new music streaming service and its Beats 1 radio station Tuesday, and it wasn't quite the smooth start the company probably hoped for.
The iOS update went live early, and presenter Zane Lowe seemed to not realize at first that he was live on air.
Starting at around 5:45 PM West Coast time, the service was completely down. When users tried to listen in, they saw an error message:
Beats 1
The service is now back up.
But not before Twitter had some fun:
Zane tried to warn us ? "@Beats1: It's. About. To. Go. Down. @ZaneLowe now on #Beats1. http://t.co/Nh4IMUb6fL pic.twitter.com/xbJOOAUl8R"

Maybe it's not such a bad thing that Beats 1 is down https://t.co/r9uCnrO3kj

will beats1 acknowledge on air the fact they were off air worldwide for a good 20 minutes? I highly doubt it
