Speculations were rife over the past couple of days with the news of Motorola ’s current CEO , Dennis Woodside , moving to Dropbox to head its operations. The news came weeks after Motorola’s acquisition by Lenovo . Google sold the smartphone company for $2.9 Billion to the Chinese PC manufacturer few weeks ago.
Woodside is a prized possession by Dropbox, which is in a fast development phase with a growing user database. Woodside’s expertise would be of the utmost importance in the next chapter of management and growth for Dropbox. Before Motorola, Woodside managed sales and operation for Google in Americas.
