Uber today partnered with global travel search engine, Skyscanner, to give its riders an opportunity to fly to select holiday destinations, across the world, for free. Yes, that’s right! So if you were planning an international getaway, this might be your chance to fly for free.

What’s even more exciting about this partnership is that riders get to select their travel dates at a time convenient to them, so they can plan well in advance.

How it will work

Uber riders in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata and Hyderabad have the opportunity to fly for free to Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Sri Lanka or Jordan from 12-16th December 2016

Skyscanner will be providing tickets to and from any of these destinations to Uber riders without dictating the airline or the time for the trips but there is a cost limit to it.

In order to qualify for the Lucky draw, Uber riders must register with Skyscanner and take 3 UberX trips in a week to stand a chance of winning two free flight tickets for their dream vacation.

Once they have our qualified bunch of riders, we direct them to the Sky Scanner website to register and win.

In addition to this, riders also have been given the option to travel anytime within 2017 and choose the number of days they would want to stay for, whether that be a short weekend break or a month-long exploratory trip.

Reshmi Roy, Growth Manager, India from Skyscanner said: “We can’t wait to send riders on a trip of a different kind. This partnership is fruitful because we solve different travel problems for the users, even if it is in a different way. We look forward to more tie-ups in the future for a seamless travel experience.”
