Facebook And Instagram Are Down

Facebook and Instagram are down on the web and on mobile, according to The Next Web.

Users are also experiencing problems with Tinder, AIM, and Hipchat, according to Engadget and reports on Twitter (which is still operating fine).

The Associated Press reports that the outage is affecting users in the US and Asia.

Instagram acknowledged the outage on its Twitter account:

We're aware of an outage affecting Instagram and are working on a fix. Thank you for your patience.
