The entire sector saw secular buying with 14 out of 18 stocks in the industry posting gains far in excess of the broader markets, where the Nifty was just 0.7 percent higher at 8,004 points.

Investors have taken fancy for the logistics sector over the past one year on expectations that expanding growth will result in a higher movement of freight across the country.
