The car celebrates the Mk. II GT-40 that shocked the racing world in 1966 when it delivered an incredible 1-2-3 finish at Le Mans in 1966, effectively beating Ferrari at its own game.
"Celebrating the anniversary of Ford's historic victories at Le Mans has always been a part of the return of the Ford GT," Raj Nair a Ford executive said in a press release.
The option offers cosmetic upgrades to the GT's interior and exterior, and color choices are limited to Shadow Black or Matte Black within Ford's online configurator.
