GoPro is cutting 7% of its staff

GoPro is cutting about 7% of its staff, the company announced on Wednesday.

In a statement, the company also announced its preliminary 2015 results, and said it expects fourth-quarter revenue to be worse than expected due to lower-than-anticipated sales.

GoPro shares had been halted for news pending after the closing bell.

The company will take a restructuring charge of between $5 million and $10 million, much of which will be severance costs, it said.
