HTC Wants to Extend Its Lead, Launches Two New Phones In India With A Decent Price Tag

Media around the world has named HTC One M8 the best Android phone available currently. Today in India, Team HTC and its country manager Faisal Siddique seemed upbeat about the brand. They launched two new phones for the Indian consumers.

HTC One E8, which is the premium end smartphone from their factories in the 5-inch category. It weighs 145 grams and has the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 801, 2.5 GHz Quad-core CPU in it. Users can install dual-SIMS in this phone. It has everything, which its big brother the HTC One M8 has – Blinkfeed, Zoe and HTC Sense 6.0 interface built on Android KitKat. HTC India hit the bulls eye when it came to pricing of this phone. HTC has managed to keep a very decent price for this phone – users can pick it up for Rs 34,990.

The other phone to come today is the HTC Desire 616. Another Dual-SIM phone that has 1.4 GHz Octa-core CPU and 1 GB RAM. As far as its camera is concerned Desire 616 has 8 MP rear camera along with 2 MP front one. HTC has placed this mobile in the mid-segment of phones and the brand is going to sell it at Rs 16,900 in India.
