Hate crimes against Indians not being taken lightly, says Rajnath Singh

Home Minister Rajnath Singh has said that alleged hate crimes against Indians in the US are not being taken lightly by India, and the government will make a statement on the matter in the parliament next week.
At least two Indians have been killed in incidents of hate crime in the US in the recent past.

While opposition members have already raise the issue in theLok Sabha , Singh said that the government is taking the issue seriously.

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ananth Kumar also said that the government was very much concerned about what’s happening with Indians in the US.
