This year, the demographic became the largest living generation in the United States over the baby boomer generation that once held the title. And in a country with 75.4 million millennials, it's not hard to notice the generation's habits-especially those involving technology.

According to a Nielsen survey, millennials cited technology use as the most defining characteristic of their generation, over other factors like music, pop culture consumption, and liberal mindset.
