The November report on manufacturing activity in Texas from the Dallas Federal Reserve is set for release at 10:30 a.m. ET.

Economists forecast that, remaining negative for an eleventh straight month, the index climbed to -10 in November, from -12.7 prior.

This weekend, we highlighted a report from Macquarie that looked into Houston's commercial real-estate and multifamily markets.

It pointed out that based on anecdotal evidence, the Houston-area leasing activity may be experiencing a more pronounced slowdown than thought, driven in part by tepid demand.

It's an anecdote from one industry, but is an example of the kind of slowdown and uncertainty that several businesses in the state have been reporting.
