Last year in October, Google invited every Indian to shoot a day from their lives in the evolving India. This was done to build the base of a full-length feature film, called India In A Day.

Google India’s YouTube channel has launched its first look video, telling the stories of some Indians whose lives changed because of the Internet.

While the complete film will be releasing in 2016, the first look video is enough to warm every Indian’s heart, because it carries bits and pieces from all our lives, be it using the flashlight of your smartphone to wake someone up, or travelling in a crowded train every day.

Some of world cinema's biggest names have collaborated with Google, like Martian director Ridley Scott and acclaimed Indian filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, along with Canadian filmmaker Richie Mehta and then we have our very own Zoya Akhtar, Shekhar Kapur and R Balki, gems of Indian cinema, who worked as creative consultants.

"This first look video, which was previewed during Sundar Pichai's keynote at Google For India, tells the stories of people whose lives are being transformed by the Internet," reads the YouTube description.
