He also said that Honda needs to see the change in the demands of the customers and it is important for Honda to catch up. he also confirmed that the company is planning to develop models specifically for Indian market.
"At the moment, our strategy is to bring global models rather than exclusively develop for any specific market," he told ET.
The shift of demand from petrol to diesel has also made the company loose the popularity it once had. "Unfortunately, from end of last year to this year, there was mismatching of the inventory. Our inventory was not matching the market demand. However, by July this year, "dealer supplies normalised and so the situation is now coming back to normal," he said.
