The summer placement for the Post Graduate Programme has been completed in the Indian Institute of Management Udaipur (IIMU). Among the 181 students in the batch, 157 sought placements through the institute and eight opted for the summer entrepreneurship programme offered by IIMU .
The number of companies rose drastically by 9.6% over the previous year as a total of 46 companies made offers for summer internships.
Regular recruiters includedGeneral Electric , RBL Bank, Amul, Xpress Money, NMC Healthcare, Snapdeal and ICICI Bank while 18 new companies joined the list. The average stipend offered stands at Rs 52,653 while the highest stipend offered jumped to Rs 1,60,000, a 10% rise over the previous year.
Offers were made in various other domains like business analytics (11), operations (11), human resource management (7) and information technology (12).
