Indian Motorcycle has unveiled its all-new 2016 Indian Scout Sixty in India with an expected price tag of Rs 11.99 lakhs (ex-showroom, New Delhi). The mid-weight cruiser will hit the showrooms from July 2016.

Based on the Indian Scout, the Scout Sixty shares a lot of equipment including the chassis, brakes and suspension with its sibling. The 999cc engine is based on the Scout’s V-Twin, and produces 78PS and 88.8Nm at 5,800rpm.

The long exhaust pipes, long fuel tank and single low-slung seating adds oodles of appeal. The Sixty’s also well endowed with modern equipment like a digital tachometer, speedometer, trip meter, engine temperature and low fuel light.

Speaking about the launch of the new Scout Sixty, Pankaj Dubey, Managing Director of Polaris India Private Limited said, “I am quite sure that the introduction of the All-New2016 Indian Scout Sixty in the Indian market will help us grow in terms of volumes in the fast-growing luxury commuter category.”

The all-new Indian Scout Sixty will be available in three classic Indian Motorcycle colors viz. Thunder Black, Indian Motorcycle Red and Pearl White color.
