After coming in second on the list year last year, it seems like Salman Khan has had his revenge this year when he topped the Forbes India list of 100 Celebrities to become the no 1 Bollywood celebrity this year with an earning of Rs 270.33 crores, courtesy his blockbuster movie Sultan. He left behind last year's winner Shah Rukh Khan, who came in 2nd this year with an earning of Rs 221.75 crores. In third sport is Indian cricketer Virat Kohli whose earnings this year include Rs 134.44 crores, who is followed by Akshay Kumar, the dependable actor. His earnings stand at Rs 203.03 crores.

The top 10 list also include Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Sachin Tendulkar and Priyanka Chopra. Aamir Khan, unfortunately dropped down to the 14th spot.

However, the most surprising part of the list was definitely the fact that Rajinikanth was ranked 30 in the list, with a meagre earning of Rs 35 crores. Some of the celebrities ranked above Rajinikanth include A.R Rahman, Kapil Sharma, Ranveer Singh, Sonam Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor and Yuvraj Singh among others.

Crazy, right?
