64-Year-old retired school teacher Jagroop Narayan, from the small village of Jabrauli village in Mohanlalganj, seems to be very proud, talking of his village and the rare feat that it has achieved, that of being the village visited by Bill Clinton for the initiation of his health scheme.

"Our small village is world famous now. All because of Bill Clinton. Now everybody knows about Jabrauli as the village where the former US President had come," said Narayan. "All of us now hope that his wife becomes the US President so that she comes to our place this time," he added.

The whole village is praying for Hillary in the Khadeshwar Mahadev Mandir, the oldest temple in the village, not a least bit concerned about her competition.

Remembering Bill Clinton’s visit, village pradhan Ramesh Chandra says, "The roads were washed clean, the villagers had decorated their homes and everyone was busy making preparations for his visit. Everyone in the village was happy as Jabrauli was chosen by an international leader. No one from a position like that had ever come or has come after him. The visit gave Jabrauli a name outside."
