Jay Z's new streaming site has already been accused of ripping off a musician

The Tidal relaunch was accompanied by several promotional videos which show stars like Kanye West and Daft Punk assembling in LA to talk about streaming.
Pitchfork reports that musician The Haxan Cloak has sent multiple tweets alleging that one of the videos for the Tidal relaunch uses an "imitation" of his music.
Pitchfork points out that the video above features a soundtrack that sounds similar to two of The Haxan Cloak's tracks: "Man" and "The Mirror Reflecting, Pt. 1."
The Haxan Cloak sent several tweets following the announcement, and then quickly deleted all of them. "This is so shameful," he said in one tweet. "Thanks for not getting in touch and ripping me off, Tidal." He also said "Just to clarify, I'm not saying Tidal used my music; I'm saying they used an imitation of it."
That's not the only problem with the soundtrack to the Tidal relaunch, though. Venturebeat writer Fletcher Babb noticed that the Radiohead song "National Anthem" was played as Tidal's new co-owners signed a pledge to help the music industry. But when the livestream video was uploaded to Tidal.com following the end of the press conference, that Radiohead song had been removed.
We don't know whether Tidal planned to cut the Radiohead song from its video, or if it was forced to because the band is famously opposed to streaming sites. Radiohead singer Thom Yorke called Spotify "'the last desperate fart of a dying corpse" in a 2013 interview, and the band's music isn't available on streaming sites.
