We have planned to increase our agency force by 20 per cent, which now stands at one lakh agents. Thus, we will be adding another 20,000 agents in this financial year," RLIC's Chief Agency Officer
Sahoo made the announcement at the sidelines of the launch of RLIC's new child plan, called as 'Reliance Education Plan'. He also added that Gujarat generates nearly 10% of their insurance business.

"Gujarat has been our favourite state in terms of business. 10 per cent of our business comes from here. We are having a strong agency presence here. We are having 56 branches having more than 8,500 agents working with us" he added.
