Katrina plays it safe at Cannes

The diva who owns millions of hearts all over the world didn’t look a bit nervous when she made her first appearance at the prestigious Cannes film festival as the brand ambassador of global cosmetic brand L’Oreal Paris.

Looking stunning in a strapless black Oscar De La Renta dress, the beautiful actress arrived for the opening ceremony where the French drama film La Tete Haute was screened. The actress who is known for her chic fashion sense chose to sport a side swept hairdo for her auburn hair with minimal makeup.

The image was shared on Twitter with her account especially created for her Cannes visit, operational under the handle @KatrinaAtCannes.

Although the organizers had requested stars and visitors to not take selfies on the red carpet, the actress couldn’t stop from capturing the moment when she met Hollywood actress Julianne Moore.



Earlier in the day, Katrina had donned a black and white MILLY ensemble for her interaction with the media.



It looks like the star really wants to play it safe by choosing neutral colors and not being too loud to the eyes.

Here’s hoping that Katrina chooses something a bit fancier for her second and final appearance today evening.

Two more Bollywood beauties, Aishwarya Rai and Sonam Kapoor, would be walking the red carpet on 17^th and 20^th May and 16^th and 18^th May, respectively.
