Apple will report its September quarter earnings after the market closes on Tuesday.

This is Apple's fourth quarter for the fiscal year. The stock is down for the year but has had a good recent string of weeks.

Of course, the focus will be on iPhone sales, as it's Apple's most important product. The street is expecting Apple to have sold 45 million iPhones during the quarter, which would be down from 48 million during the same period last year.
