Google is just about to post its earnings for the fourth quarter of 2014, and we'll bring you the numbers as soon as they cross the wire.

The fourth quarter is usually the biggest for online advertising, and Google's no exception. Last quarter, Google disappointed analysts with lower than expected growth in paid clicks.

Facebook had a strong earnings report yesterday, and is growing fast with mobile and video, so there could be some interesting comparisons to look at there.

  • EPS of $7.08
  • Revenue minus traffic acquisition costs of $14.61 billion.
