Tata Motors-owned Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) - known to make cars with revolutionary technology - is reported to have been in the process of making a self-learning car, which would enrich the overall driving experience and also provide a sense of safety.

According to reports, researchers at Jaguar Land Rover have been developing a new software with cutting-edge technology to identify the driver’s driving style and understand their preferences. The high-end car shall also be capable of making destination prediction.

Elaborating on this, Wolfgang Epple, director of Research and Technology for Jaguar Land Rover said, “The aim of our self-learning technology is to minimize driver distraction, which will help reduce the risk of accidents. Presenting the driver with information just at the right time whilst driving will reduce both cognitive distraction and the need for the driver to look away from the road to scroll through phone lists, or adjust mirrors, temperature or seat functions while on the road.”
