Imagine Prasad, a Thane resident’s surprise when he found out that he was getting a Samsung Galaxy S7 edge worth Rs 50,000 for free. As it turned out, he wasn’t the only one. His emotion was mirrored by Jammu’s Sandeep Singh Rajput who couldn’t believe his luck when he won a Sony Playstation 4 worth Rs 27,990, all because of one
Unbelievable, isn’t it? A few months back, it would have even sounded ludicrous, but thanks to the efforts of techopreneur Hetin Sakhuja, it’s now a reality.
Launched in August 16, last year,
Till now, the app has announced over 1400 winners who have gone on to win scooters, smart television, gold coins, smartphones among others things for free, without any cost, terms and riders involved in all the contests that are held on the app.

The app is designed basically to act as an advertising platform for brands to promote their products through sponsorship. In return, the app provides brands with live audience participation from across the country, higher brand recall factor due to the duration of the contest & in-app communications along with audience metrics to understand promotional effectiveness and reach.
Some of the popular brands on board already include biggies like FC Pune City, Apple and Vespa.
The users on the other hand have to first download the app and register themselves on it. All they need to do then is participate in one of the four lucky draws held on the app. The draws differ from each other based on the frequency with which they are held and the value of the gift offered.
The four kinds of draws are:

1.The Classic Lucky Draw, which is held 2-3 times a week.2. The Mega Lucky Draw, which is a weekly affair.
3. The monthly Bumper Lucky Draw, and
4. The Super Duper Lucky Draw, also a monthly event.
Once you decide which draw to participate in, you only have to answer a simple question to be eligible to win a gift, and looking at the success ratio of the people who’ve won gifts, it shouldn’t be too hard.
Seeing its popularity and the encouraging response the app is receiving, it wouldn’t be wrong to assume that it could be very well on the way to disrupt the way brands advertise in the country.
The app is free and is available for download on both the Playstore and iOS.
