McDonald's is releasing a breakfast version of the McWrap
McDonald's Canada
The fast food chain will start selling one McWrap with kale and feta and another with hashbrown, sausage, and cheese later in September, a source from McDonald's Canada told Business Insider.
McDonald's is focusing on breakfast to drive global sales. Starting October 6, restaurants will start selling the morning menu all day.
The company is consistently rated as having the best and most popular fast food breakfast menu.
While it's unclear if US restaurants are testing the McWrap, McDonald's is emulating the Canadian business in other areas.
CEO Steve Easterbrook is working to offer more local ingredients in US restaurants and tailor menus to area preferences, a strategy McDonald's has already adopted in Canada.
