Apart from being a huge nerd, author Meredith McCardle also proved to everyone that she is the biggest Harry Potter fan in the world. And, how did she achieve this feat, you ask?

By painting the first chapter of Harry Potter series on her wall all by HERSELF. Yes, she wins at life.

Even J.K Rowling was impressed by her devotion to the Harry Potter fandom and favourited the tweet she put out with the picture of the completed wall.

McCardle, who is not new to DIY home decor projects thought it would be a cool thing to paint the first page of Harry Potter on a wall in her office for some much-needed inspiration. She had initially estimated that it would take her a mere 4 hours to complete this, but in reality she put in 60 hours over the course of 3 weeks to paint the complete wall.

McCardle also revealed the method behind the madness. Apparently she started with a projector borrowed from an elementary school and traced the projection in pencil, after which she went back and painted every letter.

And, here's how it looks after she was done.

After completing the wall, she put up a Facebook post and tweeted a picture for the world to see like any excited individual would and much to her surprise her post went completely viral making some Harry Potter fans all across the world (including me) VERY jealous.

The kind nerd that she is, McCardle even put up some tips for anyone who's thinking of trying to recreate this-

"1. Measure each line as you go and don't rely on the projector to stay straight. I learned that the hard way.\

2. Use good quality paint. Trust me when I say you will not want to do a second coat.

3. If there's such a thing as a pencil that doesn't smudge, use it!"
