Micromax is going for the kill to be numero uno, unveils new logo with 15 new smartphones

Micromax is all new and fresh. India’s number 2 smartphone brand unveiled its new logo and tagline and also launched 15 new smartphones to consolidate its market presence.
Micromax 3.0 with the brand philosophy ‘Nuts: Guts: Glory’ said it wanted to become the first Indian company to have over 100 million connected devices by end of 2017.
Rahul Sharma, Co-Founder, Micromax Informatics said, “We are proud to be the first Indian brand to be in the top 10 brands globally and today we embark on our journey to be amongst the top 5 players in the world. We want to make Micromax, the largest services company in India, consolidate our leadership position in overseas markets we are present as well as enter new markets.”
It launched 15 new smartphones including Canvas 6 and Canvas 6 Pro, two 4G tablets and LED televisions.
The Micromax priced Canvas 6 at Rs 13,999.
"We would also continue to invest in different service categories which interest our consumers to create a strong ecosystem within our brand for the most compelling and seamless experience," said Sharma.
The open sale of the flagships will begin on April 20. The Canvas 6 will come with a finger print scanner, full metal body, 3GB RAM, and 32 GB storage space, which will be expandable.
Meanwhile, Canvas 6 Pro will be backed by 4G RAM and run on a Helio processor.
