What a difference a year makes.

Last year, four of the six teams playing on Thanksgiving were below .500. The Eagles got stomped on by the Lions, the undefeated Panthers beat the hapless Cowboys, and the Bears edged out the Packers in a surprise win.

This year, the slate is much more promising, with every team at .500 or above. The games kick off with a huge divisional matchup between the Lions and Vikings for control of the NFC North, the Cowboys try to extend their win streak to ten games with another big division game against the Redskins, and the Colts and Steelers both try to sneak above .500.

Safe to say, this year should be much more fun.
