New York's Best Chefs Are Revealing Their New Michelin Star Ratings
Michelin officially releases the tenth edition of its New York restaurant guide October 1, but chefs and restaurants in the city are finding out whether they received a coveted star (or stars) on Tuesday, and some have spilled the beans.
So far, chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten of Jean-Georges, Thomas Keller of Per Se, and Eric Ripert of Le Bernardin have all shared on social media that they retained their three-star ratings for 2014.
We will update this post as more chefs reveal their rankings, and when Michelin releases its official guide on Wednesday.
In 2013, seven New York restaurants received three stars from Michelin, the guide's highest possible designation, which is determined by anonymous food inspectors. They were Le Bernardin, Chef's Table at Brooklyn Fare, Daniel, Eleven Madison Park , Jean Georges, Masa, and Per Se.
