A few days back, BJP MP Subramanian Swamy had said that Raghuram Rajan doesn’t deserve to be the governor of Reserve Bank of India.
Rajan, who has often been criticized for being insensitive to the concerns of borrowers and the economical state of the country, was professor of finance at the University of Chicago.

However, a readers' survey by ETMarkets.com has given him Rajan overwhelming support, with 69% people giving him a perfect 10 for his tenure as the RBI governor. Moreover, 87% people said that they will like him to continue as the governor.

Rajan’s term is about to end this September, and the government is yet to decide on his renewal.
