Since the demonetization move, Paytm reported over five million transactions every day, biggest growth the company has ever seen.
Paytm saw a 700% hike in its customers and traffic on the portal after the high-value currency notes were abolished.

Paytm put in place a toll free number for expanding its availability to users with feature phones.
Taking it a step further, Paytm has now made it possible for consumers and merchants to pay and receive money without an internet connection.
